Ray Crist, Founder of the Jaguar Path, and Nina Crist, Director of the Jaguar Path, are professors at Ubiquity University, bringing their work in ancient wisdom and conscious living into both experiential and academic settings.

The Jaguar Path draws deeply from Yoga, Taoism, shamanic traditions, Ayurveda, Reiki, ancient movement practices, and Greek philosophy, weaving these diverse streams of wisdom into an integrated path for modern life.

The Jaguar Path grew directly from Ray Crist’s own healing journey with cancer—a journey that took him from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Johns Hopkins and the world of Western medicine to years of exploration through Mexico and Peru, where he traveled, studied, and worked alongside Indigenous healers and communities, learning traditions that have supported human healing and transformation for millennia.

The Jaguar Path embraces a truly holistic approach, giving important weight to Western medicine as a primary avenue for the diagnosis and treatment of illness, while also recognizing the value of ancient practices that have helped people cultivate emotional, energetic, spiritual, and physical well-being across cultures and throughout human history.

Get Your MA or PhD in Shamanic Studies and the Art of Healing

Through our partnership with Ubiquiti University, Jaguar Path students have the opportunity to apply their studies toward a master’s degree and, for those who wish to go further, a PhD.

This pathway is designed for students who feel called to bring their Jaguar Path studies into a deeper academic context—exploring areas such as anthropology, psychology, psychotherapy, consciousness, integrative healing, and transformational studies.

It creates a bridge between the experiential wisdom and healing practices of the Jaguar Path and rigorous academic inquiry, offering graduates an opportunity to research, articulate, and further develop this work within their chosen professional or scholarly path.
